Just in case, at 12:05 pm I started consuming an Odwalla Future Shake (Vanilla al'mondo) which says "Enjoy by Mar 22" and I'm enjoying it on March 24th. It tastes fine. I'm hoping it's a seven-day rule, sort of like the "sell-by" dates on milk. But you know, if you don't hear from me for a long time or the doctors are trying to figure out my ailment, I wanted to record it publicly.

In other news, I'm sure I lost miserably in the office Oscars betting pool, but I still had fun watching the last half last night while wearing a luxurious blue fuzzy bathrobe. It was a dress-up/costume party, so I went as Ed Harris from The Hours. Many many people urged me to not jump out a window. Favorite moment? (I missed Michael Moore's speech, so it's not a candidate) Barbra Streisand presenting an Oscar to Eminem. I can die now.

More TK.

"Odwalla Future Shake"

See? Case in point... it's meant to be enjoyed in the future, void of any expiration constraints...

it's [my] song!

RE: Ms. Zeta-Jones: I was thinking many delicious and dirty thoughts about her last night. Oh my.

La nina came on right as I read your comment!!!

Roberto made me CD of hers and I'm loving it. I'm not surprised you're already down with Lila -- you have a good taste in music. I thought of you last week in stories regarding Ute Lemper and someone naming their cat after her!

Yeah, that was pretty wild. Although if I were Philip Glass, I'd be pretty upset about losing an Oscar to Eminem. Heh.

Odwalla is a Santa Cruz-based company (well, it used to be.. I think it's somewhere out near Fresno nowadays) and when I was little, the bay area was the only place you could get it. Now it's everywhere ! It makes me homesick. If you haven't tried their fake milk, you should. It's great.

just wandering by to say you had the best. costume. you win best costume!

also, he didn't beat philip glass, though i WISH he'd been nominated in that category. and i don't know why i didn't call you, because i was jumping up and down, actually. barbra was SO shocked. it was hysterical.

i miss you. xoxox.

I just want you to know that Vanilla Al'mondo is the Future Shake that tried to kill me. I mean, I think you know that already because I pointed it out in Trader Joe's that one time, but again, Vanilla Al'mondo tried to kill me. It looks as though you've survived though - I'm glad we both made it through.

Wait wait what?

I was in the stats lab last night, not watching the Oscars. If there is footage of that ANYWHERE I must see it!

That's the funniest thing ev-er.
