I could do a rundown of my weekend but why when a Barry Manilow song lyrics will suffice? "I've been up, I've been down, I've been trying to get that feeling again." (Hey, just be glad I didn't go with Mandy.)
Don't get me wrong -- those song lyrics don't mean I had a bad weekend. It was just full and had moments of all varieties. For the most part good, including but not limited to: late lunch on Saturday with BucknerFan with great conversations, including dealing with Sagittarians in our lives -- she had some crazy insights; hanging out at Temptations with numerous fabulous people once I was able to put the lady down; fabulous weather on yesterday afternoon. And you know, other stuff.
This morning I learned that Pluto went retrograde over the weekend. I can almost remember when it happened I think, and because I can sometimes be strangely resistant to change and grow, I was hoping it wouldn't last too long and I could just hold my breath until then. So I did a little googling and found this:
When Pluto is Retrograde people are often dealing with the results of major transitions and changes in their lives. Pluto Retrograde is a time of coping with permanent transformation ... the removal of outworn and obsolete conditions and the establishment of new, improved conditions. Pluto Retrograde may involve handling crises and emergencies, acting on new opportunities for growth and learning, and adjusting to situations where the world and life as you know it has changed forever.
The next interval of Pluto Retrograde will begin on March 23, 2003 and will last until August 29, 2003. Pluto Retrograde represents an important segment of development in the overall creative process of life and is part of the larger Pluto cycle of self-improvement and the formation of productive coalitions. Pluto, with its very irregular orbit, takes over 200 years to transit through the circult of all the astrological signs. It spends between 12 and 36 years in each sign.
You have got to be kidding. Fasten your seatbelts boys, it's going to be a bumpy....five months. So much for just holding my breath. It's all for the best though I'm sure -- I've been putting off a lot of various self-care for awhile and maybe this means I'll actually get some of it done now.
