yeah, no. I signed on at work, but then when I got logged on, I didn't really have anything to say that I haven't said already. Just a general anxiety, malaise, frustration. Things that should be done but I don't want to do. People I should be calling but don't have the energy. People who shouldn't be leaving but are. Well, I mean, it's not that she shouldn't be leaving for real....but my inner kid is having a tantrum and isn't really operating on a rational level, if you know what I mean.
Hmmm -- THAT was horribly articulate. I think what I was trying to say was that I'm having a normal week of stress and such, but I'm feeling overwhelmingly preoccupied with my grrl leaving for the summer. I'm envious that she's in a slightly better position, because she'll be in a new place doing new things with new people, so time will probably pass more quickly. I'll be at home doing the same routine, only without her presence, so I'm already starting to get anxious about the period of adjustment.
i totally understand... i remember in college the woman i was with for 2.5 years went to russia for a summer and i was really upset/jealous. it turned out to be one of the better summers of my college career cuz i used that time to strengthen friendships/make new friends ... stuff that you don't have time or motivation to do with a girlfriend around ... but i know that don't make it any easier. hope you are okay!
