You know you're tired when people call and ask how you're doing and you start laughing near-hysterically in a sobbing sort of way.

The good news is I accomplished the absolute bare mininimum of my to-do list and I'm leaving soon to pick up the car and go home. I plan on a short nap, then washing dishes, then packing until

lakenaiad comes over to help take over my dear baby Sophie. Have I mentioned how grateful I am to her and

nineinchlovely for looking after my dog (and my apartment)? Extremely. I will bring them lovely trinkets from all the cities I'm visiting. They should also feel free to raid my liquor cabinet and consume all that they want.

Oh sweet vacation, why must you torment me so by either being so far away, or so close with so many things to do?
