D-Day
Yeah, I know I should be packing my bathroom or something, but I have to have one last official post made from my home on Belmont before I get the computer packed up. Sniff, sniff.
At this time I'd like to thank the Academy for not making today as oppressively hot as yesterday. I'd also like to thank in advance all the people coming at 6 pm to help me move, especially Sound Engineer who's a last-minute replacement for![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
vimandvigor, who in the midst of grovelling for forgiveness I got her to agree to move all of dommeyourass alone while topless. That seems fair since she's bailing at the last minute. I guess techinically I should blame deepfry for keeping her in Ann Arbor, but it's really all good. I mean, now. If at 9 pm tonight I'm still moving boxes I might feel differently. But I'm hopeful everything will work out.
I'm already tired because I just unloaded tons of beverages from the car into the fridge for my volunteer movers. I was thrilled to discover that VitaminWater was on sale for a buck a piece at Jewel, though they only had ONE bottle left of my favorite flavor.
I got the best look in the hardware parking lot when I turned on the car and Xtina's Drrty came blaring out through my iPod. The woman getting into the car next to me looked over, did a little double-take and then just grinned.
Let's get this party started, like the Redman remix. Or Michael Jackson v. Pink.
