What is it about rainy days that compels me to visit Target? And if that wasn't overstimulating enough, I stopped at the grocery store on the way home. My intention was to have more vegetables in the house but I came home with lots of meat. I'm a sucker for sales and came home to do the mom thing of breaking up the value pack into smaller ziplock bags for freezing purposes. When exactly does one become their parents, or is it a lifelong process that just gets more severe as we get older?

I love running errands alone though, something about moving through the crowds, focused only on my internal monologue as I compare prices and check things off my list. I get jarred when someone breaks into my bubble, like the strange woman who accosted me in the grocery store line to insist I should let her go ahead of me because she only had one item. I couldn't really deal and I'm sure I came off as rude but I just didn't want to talk to anybody, much less her. I felt somewhat reassured after she left when the cashier apologized, saying she's a little crazy and somehow always manages to find him when he's working. I suddenly felt bad for internally making fun of him for his mustache and mullet.

Now I'm home and have some time to regroup. Where did the day go? Oh yeah, I slept for twelve hours last night and woke up shortly before 11 am.

So if you are hoping to hear news of a job or an important contract, you may have to wait a while longer. Plans are notorious for changing at this time. You may apply for something only to find that the job description is not what you thought it was. You do need to take care that you don't get departmental heads in a spin, or cause others to feel jealous of you, or perhaps you of them. Venus makes a square to Pluto, and this could cause some difficult feelings. Not for long - but who needs them at any time.
