On my block, like Scarface.

I forgot to mention that on the way home last night I passed this mini-vacant lot on the corner of my street, about half a block from my house, where I've witnessed a couple drug transactions. Though witness isn't really accurate because I make it a point to not look at anyone's face, not so much out of fear of involvement because I know they don't really care, but I always have this crazy irrational fear that a bust will go down as I'm passing by and the cops will try to get me to testify against people and I want to honestly be able to say without perjuring myself that I couldn't identify anyone. But anyway, as I walked by these three guys were just loitering and not transacting, so I looked at one and gave the little nod greeting, to which he replied "got weed, man". I said, "oh, no thanks" and kept walking and my heart just leapt in joy because this means I didn't look like a narc.

Yeah, I'm weird all around.

Also, does anyone else have people who years ago used to warn you about getting off at North/Clybourn train stop? I laugh everytime I'm there now and think of those old warnings which seem extra amusing in the midst of Whole Foods, Restoration Hardware, Crate & Barrel, Old Navy, and Best Buy.

In Other NewsTM, I've been watching lots of season four Buffy while at home and eating dinner or doing random house activities, and I must confess, Riley isn't as horribly annoying this time around, probably because I know he's leaving. Also this time around, I cry everytime the Willow/Oz breakup comes up. Like, seriously almost sob. It would be embarassing if I wasn't watching it alone. But then again, if I was watching it with someone, I probably wouldn't cry.

As I was typing that sentence, I remember thinking "something about this looks and feels wrong....." because I obviously knew what I meant in my head and even though the name is spelled the same, so obviously different. I mean, since one is a fictional television character and the other is my friend.

and unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) I'm not nearly as *pretty* as he is. I must confess though..he is quite obnoxious. I much prefer Spike.

That was a pretty moving episode. But, the hardest for me to watch is when Glory sucks out Tara's brain. And when she died.

Hey, have you heard? Spike is gonna be on Angel this season! w00t! w00t!

It is only going to be 6 DAYS before I'm back in CHicago, I can't BELIEVE you're watching it without me. Doesn't it feel so empty without me?

No, probably not. Damn!
