raybear | Friday afternoon

Wow, I haven't posted yet today. I spent most of the morning working on making a scoreboard to go on the float for the parade. And now I'm done. Not as exciting as Jessie's breasts, I'm sure.

Tonight the office is going out to happy hour and having a little social get together. Then I'm going to hang out with B__ & S___ for dinner and whatnot. It's sort of funny to hang out with them with Melanie gone -- like a first date or something. ha. I'm a little scared that hanging out with them will be hard because I'll be expecting Melanie to walk in the room any minute or something like that. Argh. If you happen to be reading this, hi sweetie! I can't wait to talk by phone at some point....

The Pride parade is on Sunday, and I'm wearing a Lambda t-shirt with a homemade drawing on the back. It says:

I always get sort of cynical right before Pride, but then I end up having a pretty good time. As long as it won't be too hot....

Not much else to share. I'm very ready to go home and have it be the weekend. I also don't have to work on Monday -- we get a paid holiday in honor of Pride. Woo-hoo! I love my office.
