Currently I'm using two types of blank books. A larger thicker journal with graph paper that I actually found at a chain bookstore for an extremely reasonable price. I love it so much so that when I was wandering around there recently I bought a second one, because I thought I'd like to have one an extra on hand because by the time I fill the 300 pages, I might no longer be able to find this brand/type/style of blank book. My second blank book I use is a moleskine which fits better in my back pocket for jotting down lines and scenarios and ideas and observations and whatnot. There's not really a danger of me not being able to find these again, yet I'm still browsing to see if I can buy them in bulk for cheaper to have on hand. I've recently been very motivated to fill pages, so I'm trying to walk that fine line of encouraging myself without just spending lots of money I can't afford on blank paper that will sit empty for years.

But this isn't really why I'm making a livejournal entry. In my search for cheap bulk copies of my larger blank book of choice, I came across a book title.

Charles and Diana's Guide to a Happy Marriage

What kills me even more is it's dated 1995. I mean, I'm pretty sure their marriage was being outed as a sham and all the various affairs were major tabloid headlines starting in the late 80s. Or at least the very early 90s. This is the type of book that if I found in a thrift store for a dollar I'd pick it up in a heartbeat. But not for nine dollars.

Similarly, J-Lo appears on the cover of this or the last Redbook (I think) explaning how she's going to make her third marriage last forever.
