raybearI had crazy sleep paralysis going on last night. I was feeling the post-orgasm relaxation lulling me into slumber, and my body finally acquiesced but my brain didn't quite go under for a long, long time. I forced my body to flip over once or twice, trying to wake it up just enough for them to meet in the middle, which was met with moderate success. I think I finally slipped into full sleep after an hour or so.
I used to hate sleep paralysis, partly because it would induce panic since I would temporarily lose control of limbs. But it's happened enough now that I'm not freaked out, plus the benefits of it often include lucid dreaming, vivid daydreams, and a physical feeling of being high. Last night I don't remember my dreams, but I do remember feeling high and pleased.
I'm listening to a mix at work I made last night and should have titled "Let's Get Free" since it's mostly composed of recent favorite downloads. I've been searching like crazy for new songs for both my gigs this weekend and there's a good bit of mediocre but there's some high calibur finds, including a Fischerspooner remix of a Kylie Minogue song, some of the new Peaches songs, and Ladytron's cover of Tweet's "Oops Oh My".
Oh, and last night I gave in and shaved. I couldn't handle the itchy neck and face anymore. I went with a combination of discussions paired with my dream. Yeah, I dreamed about my facial hair. Anyway, I have quasi-mutton chops sideburns and chin goatee. I plan on trimming the sideburns whenever I clip my head, to keep them the same length, but I'm not sure how often I'll shave and keep them well-sculpted, so I'll probably be doing the scruffy thing a bit more than usual. I'm sure you've all been waiting anxiously to find out the results of this dilemma, like Kelly Rowland, and I thank you for your patience.
