The "Doh!" hear round the world.

1. I finally figured out the correct Netscape settings that allows me to refresh my livejournal friends page more than once every six hours. Seriously, people. I've had this problem for nearly a year, and I've come up with all sort of crazy ways around it, including creating extra filters that contain pretty much my entire friends list. But now I can just hit "refresh" like a normal obsessive person. I'm experiencing the same feelings as the first day we brought a microwave home and suddenly long cooking tasks were reduced to one minute.

2. While I'm making livejournal-inept confessions, I have a question to ask. I'm sure it's in the FAQ or something, but I'm a LAMF -- I mean, I've had the same journal layout for three years. Anyway, how do I change my size/text limits for both my subject line and the current mood/music? I know I've seen it on some of your pages, but I always forget to ask when I see it. [livejournal.com profile] vfc? Anyone?

3. I had one project to do today. One. I mean, a hundred things I could do, but only one that was required to do today. But the person who's next in line to receive said project would not have time to do anything in time for this week's mailing, so I can give it to her next week instead. Have I also mentioned that Rockstar Attorney is out of the office today?

I'm going home early.

When I want to use a really long subject line, I always go to my old LJ client (I believe it's LiveJournal 1.4.7-BETA2, which you can get by clicking here, I think) rather than the fancy, new-fangled Semagic client. Though I doubt you use clients at all since you usually update from work. Right? Anyhow, some of the earlier clients appear to allow for longer subject heads and current music and whatnot. I'm not sure if there's any other way to modify that.
