Reading my writings from the beginning of my own transition, I had this moment where everything just seemed utterly amusing and ridiculous. Sort of one of those moments where an everyday act suddenly seems new and foreign, like when my brain will suddenly go "why do I rub my lips on someone else's?" or "or why do i eat raw fish rolled up in a plant?" or "what is the larger philosophical meaning of those last two minutes of my life where I stood in the aisle of the store comparing scents of dryer sheets?"
Less an ideological essay or decrlarative statement of fact, more a comment on how everything in this world is "weird", when approached from a certain angle, even if you've been surrounded by it and living in it.
