Tomorrow is Pretty Toney Tuesday. I'm way more excited than I should be for this album. I just love Ghostface Killah so much.

On Friday, I saw Kill Bill Vol. 2 which was a highly satisfying cinematic experience. Damon and I nearly flipped out when the characters were watching the movie Shogun Assassin which features the dialogue used at the beginning of GZA's Liquid Swords. Then I started freaking out again during the final credits when the song Goodnight Moon by Shivaree started playing, which Lowenstein put on a mix tape for me about a year ago.

I got almost nine hours of sleep last night but I'm still tired. It's probably just boredom at work. And annoyance with how loud Big White Man is constantly talking. Luckily it's time to go home.

Is there anything that can be done about loud Big White Men talking like...uh loud big white men? It seriously drives me crazy. There are so many people that I work with that fall into that category. And it's like if you say 'hey, can you take it down a notch' they look at you like you're insane and like YOU'RE the one that's rude. I don't understand it. People actually sound DUMBER when they speak too loud which I would assume is the exact opposite effect that they're going for.

My office doesn't really have official cubicles. It's more like we've arranged all our desks and hutches and filing cabinets into cubicle like structures. So the only thing between me and Big White Man is this half wall and the desk -- it sort of looks like a window between our two areas. When NextDoor Coworker was there, I loved this window, because she wasn't loud, we respected each other's space, and even when we did talk, she was my friend so I didn't mind. Big White Man is not my friend.

Every day I think about two things. Either sliding the wall over first thing in the morning before he gets there to block our view of each other, or, even better, moving the wall in the middle of the day when he's talking loudly on his cell phone.
