Purple clover, queen ann's lace, crimson hair across my face. You could make me cry, you don't know.

Deep connections

The week ahead continues to be associated with the unconscious mind, and all the mysterious happenings that are beginning to make themselves known to you. If you have noticed an increase in your dreams and in the number of coincidences that seem to be taking place, then this area of your life has been well and truly activated. There is no doubt that some of the events that currently surround you will not be under your direct control, and this is where an element of fate comes into it all. The Sun, Mercury, and Venus are all in this sector, and you might need to take extra care on Tuesday, as Mercury opposes Pluto. It is possible that you might act out of character in this instance, and make a remark that will embarrass you, or cause distress to someone else. Don't ruin a working relationship by being thoughtless. But if you do, there may well be a deeper reason why this has happened, so don't worry. A New Moon in Gemini means that you are able to start fresh in this area of your life, even though you may not be sure how to go about this mysterious process. Try keeping a dream diary, or writing a journal, to get a handle on those underlying psychological processes.

I like the part about Tuesday and a working relationship and a new moon meaning I'm starting fresh in that arena, because guess what? I am whether my horoscope says so or not, but I like having some correlation.

At this time, I'd like to thank [livejournal.com profile] drinkasyoupour for throwing a stellar graduation party yesterday which also served as a pleasant and convenient mini-going away party for me. I mean, I'm only going to be gone for two weeks, but it's still nice to have a receiving line of hugs from some of my favorite people before I go.

This morning we went to temple for meditation then I had a nice lunch with Educating Esme, then I came home to do some work. So far I've watched two episodes of sex and the city and read an issue of Entertainment Weekly. It's part procrastination, part dread of a phone call. It's time to stop putting it off. All of it.

the other day I realized I'd had the song stuck in my head for nearly four days straight. and it's because our backyard is filled with blooming queen anne's lace flowers, so every time i take the dog out (three times a day!) my brain gets the song going again. but it could be much worse -- at least it's a song i love.
