In my underwear, sometimes I visit there: oblivion.

I learned a very important lesson last night: don't depend on a friendster profile for verification of someone's ability to date. I mean, I suppose telling someone you have a crush on them and want to play, then having them say thank you but they are in a monogamous relationship is maybe better than just a flat out "no". But I really couldn't help sitting there with my slightly deflated ego thinking 'but your friendster profile said you were looking to date men!' Oh well. I can't blame myself for trying and being bold.

Besides other prospects unfolded quite quickly -- the conversations alone were fabulous and I forget how fun and devious [livejournal.com profile] dommeyourass and I can be when our moods are synced up. Last night was an unexpectedly great, bold, and sexy night at Spin. I was hoping it would carry over to tonight's karaoke adventure, but damn, right now all I want is another nap. I'm hoping for a second wind. Perhaps after singing "I'd Really Love to See You Tonight". I think a brief rest, a snack, and the right outfit will also help.

We got up early and went to temple meditation this morning. Then drove up north for brunch at Heartland. It was great except the waiter spilled coffee on my pants. I'm totally suing.

Afterwards we ran some errands and I had sort of a dehydration, caffeine-rush, sleep-deprived crash. I didn't really realize until it was pointed out I was being negatively obsessive and nitpicky. Which I realize is exactly how my father often gets. I didn't like that realization at all. Though it certainly explained a lot.

Maybe some vitamins are in order as well. And some poetry. I'm on a weird poetry kick.

Oh, and last night at Spin, all of us got transfixed by the JC video for All Day Long I Dream About Sex and I really missed [livejournal.com profile] wearemany in that moment.

[This is the most random nonsequiter-filled journal entry ever.]

eeee. i swear, i've only seen a small version of it. isn't it ridiculous and yet oddly sexy?

I liked that video a lot, too. It was surprisingly hot. I couldn't figure out why, but I couldn't look away either.

i know! i think it's because it's so shamelessly over the top.

It memorised me when I needed it too, and for that I'm thankful.

I must have been on a different planet last night cause I totally didn't feel all the sexual energy everyone is talking about...what happened? It sucks cause I was in the mood for a little fun too.

Yeah, the service there sucks. Especially in the bar.

It's pretty freaking good in the outside area though. You should try eating out there instead.

Yeah, but the bartender is really cute.
