It's 8:20 am and I've already voted, gone for a run, and lifted weights. My new favorite song on the running mix is Destiny's Child's "Lose My Breath". Highly appropriate. Now I'm going to cut my hair, shower, and leave the house before I lose all momentum.

One last time, for Chicago people, go to VoteForJudges.org to get info on which judges to vote for. If you don't have time to sort through (and trust my politics), at least vote a big "NO" for Susan McDunn and Dorothy Jones -- every bar association in the city is unanimous in not recommending them.

If I think about the election too much, I might find myself doing something strange. Like praying.

'cept I blew out the candle, because it was leaving a mark on the bookshelf and was stinking up the room. Weird jelly Chicago candle.

Desperate times call for desperate actions.
Praying is good at this point.

Thanks for giving me a heads up on the judges stuff. I gave a big YES for my girl Julia M. Nowicki (name change judge..hehe) and a bunch of big NOs for Susan and Dorothy...and most of the others the website suggested. Unlike other years where I straightticket voted yes.

I liked the new Destiny's Child song the first time I heard it, which means that I'll love it by next week and hate it by December.

I also am having a productive day (voting, bank business, mailing, reading...), so here's to that. And to the signs that say "Douche Bush '04" in my neighborhood.

I don't think you're ready for THAT jelly.
And you are so getting together with me, SOON.

Ha! That's really sweet. Well, my door's open if you ever want to hang out in the Quarter. And my girl will be moving back to Chicago for a little bit this winter, so we can catch up then, too!

Right now I've filled my quota of drunken encounters with spiteful white college students so I'll have to wait awhile on visiting you.
But I'll happily see you when you stop thru with the galpal.
Llamame!
Well, email, anyway.
