Get tomorrow on the phone.
Nov. 4th, 2004 10:22 amIs it weird that I want Peter Jennings to be my "Daddy"? Yes, in the sexual sense. He's all.....distinguished. I'm not normally all about older men, but sometimes.... Maybe I'm just still horny from last night. Having sex makes me want more of it. Especially great sex.
No, I've always sort of liked Peter. And um, why is Bush having his first press conference of 2004? It is November, right? That's totally going in my letter.
This morning I rolled out of bed and went downstairs to find my box of produce waiting for me, courtesy of Timber Creek. As
magdalene1 called it (and who led me to the company), it's like Netflix for organic food. I had an orange with my breakfast but the best are the red grapes. They're HUGE and I assumed this meant seeded, but no, they're seedless and sweet and I probably shouldn't mention them here because I might eat them all by myself and then Lowenstein will be sad and mad she missed them. We also got a huge head of cauliflower which is not our favorite, but with some curry and enough butter, I'm sure it will be edible.
I have so many exciting and great things coming up: DJing tomorrow night, karaoke party on Saturday night, leaving for California with Lowenstein on Monday, having chest surgery in less than a week (!!!). I still have to finish reading this damn book, write an annotation, and then, um, write 20 pages of fiction. It's going to be a busy weekend. I'm still a little heartsick about the election, but that's good. Keeps me paying attention.

Date: 2004-11-04 08:44 am (UTC)I wish, and during the first term I often wished, that rather than reporters massaging his ramblings to fit their stories and sound profesional, they just published the actual stuff he said in full, in response to their questions. Because I'm not sure that people understand the full surrealism of this dude when he talks! Or maybe the stupid homophobic section of the country loves it. Who knows.
I got my box too. The box delivery guy is hot. One night I wish to drag him into my house and bed him, since he comes at 1:00-2:00 in the morning and I'm all in my 'jamas and stuff. No grapes for me, but a 1/2 gallon of apple cider!
I also crush on Peter Jennings. Have since I was small. It's a sickness.
