raybear | It's alive!!

I am awake. I've been remarkably awake and lucid. Okay, in a stoned sort of way. I feel pretty lucid, though I'm sure I don't sound it. Though most people have commented I seem remarkably alert and unlike a person who spent two hours in surgery yesterday morning. I almost wouldn't believe it myself. Of course, it's easy to say all this when I spend most of the day lying on the couch watching television.

The surgery went smoothly -- so I'm told. I will probably write a long rambling detailed account at some point, but not now because it's a little uncomfortable to sit at this desk since I've already typed up a couple e-mails.

Besides, I have the option of popping another vicodin and watching CSI and Alias. I should take it while it's socially acceptable.
