raybear1. In 24 hours I will be sitting at the baggage claim of Manchester airport, waiting anxiously.
2. I actually ate lunch today, which is good. My stomach is acting up only a little. But I'm drinking lots of juice.
3. And even though I didn't think I had been losing more weight, I've noticed lately that my ass has seemed to have fallen off. Where did I drop it? I don't know.
4. My e-mail is acting up, so I haven't been able to get any messages since noon. Argh.
5. I think I realized that part of my emotional anxiety came from being too present. I need to fantasize a bit more about the future, which will loosen me up a bit. I guess I didn't realize this, because I used to do the opposite -- think SO much about the future that I couldn't focus on the present. I need to be more forward-thinking, as my therapist would say.
6. The soft rock station just finished a duet with Cher and Peter Cetera from one of those reincarnation movies from the 80's. What was it called? Something with Cybill Shephard.
7. I think this kava kava stuff is really working. Yay for not having to add another presciption drug to my budget.
8. I just re-read a letter I sent to Melanie about amonth ago, and my own faith felt foreign to
me. Hmm. Note to self: don't forget your own words and thoughts.
9. I engaged in pointless dialogue today with a "disgruntled customer" who is adamant that he's pulling all of his funds from Lambda because he disagrees with one of our cases. Unfortunately, his view of the case comes from a misinformed reporter who characterized our argument based on the conservative judge's opinion instead of our actual brief. I hate journalists. Yes, half of my close friends are journalists, so I shouldn't generalize. But it's hard when so many of them suck.
