My new favorite tea is this organic jasmine green tea, and about halfway through the box, I realized there was a motivational statement on the tag of each teabag. The subject line is the current cup's sentiment. It's so far the cheesiest.

I'm doing better -- not fabulous, but better. Less coughing. Still achey. I took a hot bath which made me feel worse, actually, but at least now I'm not as sticky and stinky (from the multiple daily application of metholated vapor rub). Thank you for nice comments and well wishes. I re-visited my wonderful Sims family on playstation, which helped pass the time on the couch very quickly. Thank you, mintwaster, for letting me kick your a$$ in scrabble, er, Literati, which perked me up. Thank you, keetbabe for loaning me Persepolis 2 which I read in it's entirety yesterday and loved every page and was so sad it was over and I didn't have more beautiful unread comics on hand. Thank you, thebrownhornet for suggesting the RjD2 album which I promptly downloaded and listened to while taking a bath and also inspired me to actually *gasp* do some work on my paper a.k.a. the elephant in the room of my brain.

i will most likely re-read both of these as they were both so beautiful! i too did not want Persepolis 2 to end and was sad when it did. I got so attached to her, her family and friends want to know what has happened since. maybe there'll be a third one.

Ew I hate that sticky Vicks vapo-rub feeling (though I love how it clears up my lungs). I'm glad you're feeling a little better. I'm a new convert to green tea - Ever since I started trying to kick the (caffeinated) coffee habit, and since I heard it's great for fertility and um, if you haven't caught it already on my LJ, I'm trying to turn myself into a baby-making machine. I steeped it too long the first time and tasted it and seriously thought I was going to puke. How can something so good turn so bad after just a few extra moments in hot water? I don't know. Feel better soon!
