Monday morning you sure look fine, Friday I got travelling on my mind.

We made it to Lincoln, Nebraska and we picked a hotel with a pool so I immediately dropped my bags on the orange and brown flower print bedspread that Dateline tells us is crawling with bacteria and remenants of human fluids, put on my swim trunks and jumped in. After sitting in a car all day, swimming around is a good antidote.

I went to bed at 11 pm for the second night in the row.

Yesterday I almost fulfilled a dream of running through a cornfield, because we stopped and got out of the car and I went into the field but it was kinda hard to run throw the rows because they were so damn close together plus the stalks were all dried out and hurt a little when you bumped into them. We also stopped as some weird german colony and visited the Chocolate Haus and I ate a big block of pecan chocolate fudge.

Today, the destination is Flaming Gorge.

not as easy to navigate as in Field of Dreams. I too wanted to get lost in a cornfield but was barely able to go in 5 cornstalks before giving up. some dreams are better left as dreams...
