Last week my pet-news obsession was all things Jeff Gannon, the fake reporter and gay hustler who visited the White House over 100 times.

This week it's Lydia Cornell. Who knew Sara from Too Close for Comfort would grow up and get embroiled in a scandal involving Ann Coulter?

TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT! May Ted Knight rest in peace. Sara, now was she one of the daughters? The blond? Muriel was the wife and who could forget Monroe!

I loved that show. I loved the idea that when I grew up I would be sexy and my sister would be smart and we'd lived downstairs from my parents and hang out with a gay guy who my father hated.

Weird. I just watched The Warriors in full for the first time this weekend and it stars the other daughter from Too Close for Comfort and I found myself wondering what she and the other daughter was up to. Now I know.
