Indeed a fool of mine.
Last night it was a karaoke boxing day, and I sang:

No One Knows -- Queens of the Stone Age
Don't Fall in Love with a Dreamer -- Kenny Rogers and Kim Carnes

vfc and I stayed on stage and went directly into.....
Magic Stick -- Lil Kim and 50 Cent
The crowd went unexpectedly crazy. Which basically means about 10 people took to the dance floor. But hey, there wasn't much dancing last night, so it was special.
Also, I was dressed like a priest for the evening. See, at the thrift store last week, I was looking for new button down black shirts, because that's what I'm into right now (they're easy, sleek, and I'm lazy) and I found a handful of clerical shirts. I bought only one, but I think I might go back and get another. I wore it out for the first time last night, just as a regular shirt, but at one point I buttoned it up to the top, folded up a napkin and gave myself a collar. And performed Queens of the Stone Age with it on. And when the laserdisc of the Kenny Rogers song fcked up, I tore it off and threw it on the floor in a fit of mock rage, which amused the KJ. Apparently some of the more clueless members of the karaoke club thought it was in earnest. Now I'm a little obsessed with being Father Raymond.0595, please make sure you e-mail me that photo when you get a chance. Bless you.
I apologize to any catholics in the audience. I don't mean it in a mean or sacrilegious way. Anything I fetishize also comes with a hefty amount of respect and awe.
