I was going to write some journal entry, about what I'm not sure, though I'd probably mention something about the moment at the Golden Globes last night during Felicity Huffman's acceptance speech when everyone in Hollywood was applauding for ME. Or rather, the courage of trans people or something. I don't know, I was only half-listening.

But I don't have time now, because I need to get dressed and go to Hot Doug's.

CP was bawling. And then cursing the producers of Brokeback Mountain for not saying anything poignant.

But she also cried during Steve Carrell's speech.

I was impressed she said to the "women and men". The audience doesn't give a shit though. My reaction was like "yeah, they really care."

Sometimes I think about you and An, and I'm so glad that both of you (and I) live in this present day, where even though it's scary and hard and takes courage, the means exist to DO something about gender dysphoria. Can you imagine yourself 100 years ago? You would have been one of those Shakespearean adventure stories about a girl who disguises herself as a boy...if you were lucky.
