Don't put me in a frame on the mantel.
Apr. 17th, 2006 11:33 amI took meterology classes in college as part of requirements for my environmental science major, but I still get confused when I see a severe weather alert for a flood warning when it's been sunny all day and will continue to be clear through the night.
One of my favorite bittersweet summer songs is Shawn Colvin's "Twilight" and I knew it was a cover of song by The Band but couldn't remember ever hearing the original, so I downloaded it and....yeah, not so much. I'll stick with Shawn, who doesn't do any faux reggae guitar.
Speaking of covers of rock bands popular in the 70s, how come everyone always does "Landslide"? Can't I get some "Silver Spring" up in here?

It's kind of a radical idea, considering the context in which we know each other, but I was thinking it might be nice to get together sometime soon, somewhere besides Sidekicks or Circuit, and just like, talk, or something...people do that, right? ;-)
