I will grab you by the ears
Apr. 19th, 2006 09:07 amI'm home all day writing up mission statements and goals and skills and timelines and curricula. This will be more fun if you give me songs to listen to while I work. New or obscure stuff I should discover, old stuff that's good for the brain or soul, outrageously bad stuff that will make me laugh -- whatever. Recommend one, two....eight.
Thanks in advance.

Wonderful, etheral rockabilly ballad from the Queen of Rockabilly.
ELO - El Dorado
Cheesy and brilliant at the same time. Jeff Lynne's voice is creeptastic!
Sid Laverents - Fatman
I couldn't stop singing this song to myself for two months.
Sebastian6 - Thirties
One of mine.
The Zombies - Care of Cell 44
Poppy as poppy can get...in the '60s
Gumby Theme Song
Retro-reverby theme to the show.
The Pioneers - Let Your Yeah Be Yeah
Ska from Jamaica...catchy. I'm a sucker for good pop.
King Crimson - Moon Child
Don't let the fact it's King Crimson deter you. I hate prog/art rock, but this is a nice departure.
Ahsa Bhosle - Dum Maro Dum
Play this back to back with the Gumby theme and you'd think they'd recorded in the same studio with the same guitarist.
