I've gotten a little choked up twice while watching a movie tonight....and the movie is Dave Chappelle's Block Party. First, when Common came out and sang "Love of My Life" with Erykah Badu. The post-breakup duet is always bittersweet, no matter how Courtney Love that Erykah has become, it got me a litte bit. The second misty-eyed moment comes near the end of the movie, with the Fugees reunited.

I'm not made of stone, people.

Then again, I might just be having an emotionally sensitive weekend, as I spent an hour today reading about Andre Agassi's retirement and reading about all those tennis tournaments and players I followed closely in high school.

It's been a good weekend with lots of home time, lounging, laundry, grocery store, tv and movie watching, eating, sleeping, craft projects, a yacht-rock themed birthday party, more eating, lounging, movies, reading. A pot roast was made yesterday and the leftovers were stolen by the dog, which was very sad. I revised a novel chapter for my writing group. Today, I never left my pajamas.

Man, tomorrow morning is going to kinda suck.
