I might have to take the Huffington News feed off my friends page until after the election because it's getting excessive in its frequency and fervor. Then again, if I do that, I'll miss tomorrow's headline of "GOP ad claims that voting Democrat is worse than stabbing yourself in the eye multiple times and then rubbing lemons on it, while telling terrorists to explode your home". Because really, it's that close to happening.

Yesterday was super busy at work and tonight it's quiet so far. And greatly lacking in candy. Or maybe it just got eaten up before I arrived at 4. I do have this Affy Tapple on my desk that the firm handed out, but I'm not sure I'll break it out yet. I'm not ready to have caramel all over my face.

So I brought this old tape player to work and a handful of cassettes I made years ago and Queen Pen's "If that was your girlfriend, she wasn't last night" just came on. Damn. I'm psyched to hear what comes next.

i had funny confusing feelings for her back when she was a republican and she would appear on politically incorrect. and then when her (ex-)husband came out of the closet, that pretty much sealed the deal of me being in love with her.
