Today I realized I can't write barefooted. Whenever its time to dig into it, I get up, put on flip-flops or sandals or slippers, then sit back down and open up the word documents and get to it.

I have no explanation for it.

I used to try to stay organized via this online "decluttering expert." she calls herself flylady. quite freakish. anyway. she insists that all her "followers" get up in the morning and put on shoes. she's viciously insistent about the shoes, saying that putting on our shoes signals our bodies we are ready to be up and about and on with our business. i always resisted this, as i love being barefoot, but maybe thre is some association between shoes and work that is deep in our bodyminds....
