I woke up to a massive sneezing allergy attack and also to the news that a $200 check cleared unexpectedly yesterday (I thought they were going to wait until the date of my residency to cash that down payment). But! Its my birthday and I'm not really all that bothered by these things. I'm going to go to the store to buy cream for coffee, and probably some dessert-like treats, and then JT is coming over at lunchtime to play guitar with me.

In honor of the day, please watch this video which was very formative to my pop culture aesthetic on many levels: choreographed group dancing, women in drag, dominatrix chic, awkward chanting, sexist media fallout the next day (c'mon! her thighs look so hot!), shameless enthusiasm, and, of course, horny horns.

omg!! weirdly the person i was reminded most of here was britney -- something about how all the confidence is in the dancing, and a little lost girl about so much of the rest.

i remembered that paula was in drag, but totally forgot that they ALL were and i totally gasped a little this morning when they stripped down. if i wasn't watching a crappy copy of a copy, i would have noticed sooner, but i sort of liked that i could still be surprised.
