I just finished reading The Age of Innocence. I'm trying to get myself to the gym, but right now I only want to lie down on the couch and recover from having my heart gutted out with a spoon.

Also, I love that in the Wiki entry, it says that Edith Wharton called this book an "apology" for The House of Mirth. HAHAHA. She is a twisted lady. Well, "was", I suppose. No, I mean "is". I suppose it makes sense that I consider certain authors still alive who can move me so deeply with no regard for time and space or being above ground and breathing.

I was going to text you about the gym, but then I decided I can't work out on a vacation day.

I was there for 18 minutes. 3 minutes to deal with a credit card issue on my account, then 15 minutes of weights, before I biked back home.

I loved Age of Innocence and House of Mirth but seriously hated Ethan Frome. If you ask me...that is the one she should apologize for. ha ha haxox
