Ladies and gentlemen and heathens, I am pleased to announce that as of 12:45 pm on September 5th, after 18 months laboring, I can now open the package of Pinwheels cookies.

Tonight at work I get to print out my 62,875-worded third draft of a novel and start making line-edits with the red pen.

i'm sort of surprised at how satisfied i am. because its not done-done. but it does feel like i finished one HUGE task. and now i have a new medium-sized task to follow.

but after i clean this up and send it out, i'm taking a month break from looking at it. which means more free time to do fun things with y'all!

PS... you should hit Jess up to make you some Whoopie Pies! Chocolate muffin things that are more like small individual cakes with marshmallow puffy stuff in the middle. Absolutely to die for.

I would love to read a full update on the Pinwheels experiment... they look yummy, but there's something about chocolate-coated cookies that you buy in the store... the chocolate coatings tend come off in waxy sheets... it's weird.
