Our government is loaning $14 billion to THREE auto companies that are responsible for 10% of the jobs in our faltering economy.

Our government gave $300 billion to ONE bank, Citibank, who currently is paying boatloads of money to put its name on the Mets field as well as the Rose Bowl.

I'm not saying that the auto industry is beyond reproach, but really, let's put things in perspective and stop hating on our dwindling manufacturing industry in this country.

I am not looking forward to whatever "compromise" comes out of the Senate. I mean, I don't know if I was looking forward to the original bill either, but crap.

At some point we will be looking back on all of this and seeing what did and did not work, but in the mean time, this is absolutely nuts.
