I have had a number of instructors/TAs use the word "Factoid" inappropriately. And I think "this is why our legal system is going down the tubes." Which is probably not true, there are a number of other, arguably larger problems with our system. But the fact that people don't know how to use words appropriately just has to be in the mix of issues somewhere.
Law school is a horrible place to be if you're someone who can't stand abuse of the English language. There's a lot of discussion of "impacting" and I shit you not, "resourcing." As in, "resource the library in your research." That and the other day my TA pronounced "later" as "latter" about 20 times during his lecture. It was so aggravating I thought I was going to have some sort of episode in class. What is this world coming to?
