If you like/love hip-hop, go to The Rub and download some of their history of hip-hop mixes. They are a 3 hour long mp3s and they play enough of the song to satisfy, before transitioning to the next one. I got so excited by the track lists, I could barely get past the 90s before needing to catch my breath.

ot, but I thought you might appreciate this

I was awakened this morning to the sound of Dana Dane on NPR. Apparently he has a new novel out, which just seemed so strange to me. Also, the novel has a soundtrack comprised of tracks by Dana Dane's 19 year old son. For some reason knowing that Dana Dane has a 19 year old son makes me feel ancient.
& that site is awesome and I am totally going to delve into it once I get through this particular segment of academic hell. Thanks for the link.

When I first read this I thought "wait, who's Dana Dane...." then immediately started humming Cinderfella Dana Daaaane....Cinderfella Dana Daaane.

I am a little curious about that book -- not enough to buy it, but I might check it out if I saw it at the library.

I saw them do a dj set with some old Motown-ish stuff. It was so so good.
