I left the apartment at 8:40 a.m., with MelRo in bed wrapped up in the down comforter, and Joe & Vinnie snuggled up under blankets on the futon in my living room.
I hate them all.
Or I at least have severe bed envy. I feel like absolute hell today. I slept horribly and was possibly feverish in the night. Today my lymph nodes are swollen. But am I in bed? No. Because a brief is due today. So I had to come in. So far I've fixed the service certificate, drafted the motion for leave to file, and now I'm about to start the table of authorities. In between I'm drinking alka-seltzer and emergencees. And probably have been gruff with my Wolf-Crying Coworker. Though to my credit, I did warn both her and Alternatively Paced CoWorker of my condition early on.
But in other news, it is fabulous to finally meet the famous Joe and Vinnie, and they may be staying another night before continuing on to Philadelphia. Last night we chatted some, but they didn't arrive until after 11:30 pm, and we were all a bit tired and loopy. I also realized last night the the ratio of tranny boys to non-tranny boys who have slept on my futon is about 1 to 1. Joe suggested with all the bed space in our apartment, we could have a tranny boy halfway house. Maybe then I could get government funding.....but not bloody likely.
Why is my immune system suddenly so crappy?? Maybe I should start taking echinacea every day, even when not sick.

I miss you so much man. I am so sorry that work has been utterly sucky. I am starting to think I am being taken advantage of at this place. Ugh. I dont know. How does one ever know their self worth?

hey, i would be even more impressed if the number of people total that have slept on your futon is very high. that way the 1:1 ratio would have to include large numbers of trannies.
my friend chelsea once said to me "jesus, i think you know every tranny boy on the face of the earth!". i said "far from it, but i know where to find them." on ray's futon, apparently.
