I'm back at work, and therefore back on e-mail and livejournal. The apartment is starting to look like a clean, livable space again. I also got accustomed to spending all day at home. I'm thinking about switching my career path to "slacker" -- I wonder if that position for golf caddy is still open.

In other news, I woke up to see the world covered in a blanket of snow. April is so fired.

Also, I'm looking quite handsome in a new (to me) shirt today. I've already gotten two compliments.

More TK.

Your Weekly Horoscope for Apr 07 to 13
Dear RAYMOND,
The Moon moves into your sign on Tuesday, which gives you a lucky break. For the next couple of days every month you get your desires and wishes fulfilled - more or less. Ask for a raise, ask for something that you have previously been refused, look for something that you have wanted to purchase - you have more chance of getting it right now. A good day for a romantic tryst could be on Wednesday when the Moon in your sign trines Venus in Pisces. Plan a meal out, or in, but make it special if you have someone in mind that you want to impress, they will relish every moment. Venus also squares Pluto in your house of health and work, so don't overdo the pace if you are away on vacation or working hard at your studies. Try not to make someone jealous if you can help it. You might not realize what is happening, but it might not take much for someone to get obsessive about an aspect of your behavior. Mars continues in your house of partnerships and relationships, so there could still be a few rocky moments between you and a loved one before things become more harmonious once again. In a social situation don't promise more than you can give!

Last night I stood on the train platform talking to myself incessantly because of a lack of headphones or book or magazine, and at one point as the train finally approached, I said to myself, "....besides you have lots more time, so stop feeling so desperate in your need for immediacy" and I answered back "yes, you're right.....unless I happen to trip on the platform as I'm walking and fall into the path of this moving train." I then of course preceded to freak myself the fck out because I was scared I'd just had a premonition of my own death and I wasn't quite ready for such an occurence. I turned my back to the oncoming train and leaned against a pole in the middle, trying to regain balance that really hadn't been lost. I didn't move until the train stopped and the doors opened, and I knew any tripping and falling would just end with me on the floor of the car with a possible concussion, not an electrocution or being crushed.

I was the only person on the train for the whole ride. About halfway home I laughed about my ridiculous overreactions on numerous fronts.

I'm blowing up -- full-time b-boy making noise.

It's Monday morning, I've been gone for almost a week, and you're already sick of my ass appearing on your friends page. But it's a poll!

I'm desperately unhappy with my career state of mind right now. And currently I'm in the brainstorming stage, because even though I have some concrete ideas of what to steps I want to take next, I want to open myself up to some new ideas to find out if there's an even better fit. So I'm opening up the floor to your suggestions to add to my own very-long list of possible career paths.

Please feel free to be as alternative or detailed as you'd like in your suggestion. I'd like to also request that you try not to be too much of a smart-ass. Being funny is good, but at least make it an honest answer.

Where are my manners? In my long post from this morning, I forgot to mention my fabulous Sunday evening activites with [livejournal.com profile] cocolola, [livejournal.com profile] mintwaster, and [livejournal.com profile] dommeyourass. We rocked the house with dinner and a rousing game of Cranium. Next time we're planning on a pairing of Scattergories and French&Saunders, which I think will be a most excellent fit.

It's five o'clock and I'm going home to take a nap.
