This is a direct quote from a staff meeting yesterday. Actually, my boss and I said it at the exact same time. For those not fluent in pig latin, we were talking about not using dildos as props when having a pride float filled with supreme court justices, since we're required to maintain a level of respect, being a legal organization and all. I may hate my job, but I love my office.

Despite yesterday being an intense day in the cosmos, particularly on the issues of loss and death, my mood was lightened by post-work booty, a good therapy session, frozen pizza, and the movie Tadpole. I really really loved it, probably more than I objectively should, but here's the thing -- aside from the location (New York City) and socioeconomic status (wealthy and intelligentsia), this movie was a remarkable combination of one part how I was as a 15 year-old and two parts how I wanted to be as a 15 year-old and one part how I thought I was as a 15-year-old. And instead of a stepmother and her friends, it was just my mom's friends. But I swear, some of the women I desired and flirted and developed strange quasi-sexual friendships with were nearly as hot as Bebe Neuwirth and Sigourney Weaver, at least to my teenage self. Though I don't think any of them work leather skirts. Also, the soundtrack is great and further solidified my assessment of it being secretly stolen from my brain when the next to the last song was "The Only Living Boy in New York" by Everything but the Girl.

I took an extremely long shower this morning and sung old hymns while shaving and put on gay jeans and a gay belt and a Brooklyn Funky Club t-shirt given to me by someone I need to call today.

In the meantime, to entertain myself and others, a game, in the form of a poll! play a game in the form of song lyrics and Raybear's journal! )
