MOVIE NIGHT TONIGHT

So the vote is for the 9:15 pm show of Mean Girls at City North 14 (Western Ave, just south of Diversey, near the Target shopping center, in case you don't know.)

I will be arriving at the theater between 8:45 and 9. Because there are so many people possibly going, no waiting will occur, just look for each other in line or in the lobby or in the theater.

Next week might be "Troy". Although it might be too soon to opening weekend for that. I would do Godsend though.

I also vote for Godsend over Troy, but goddamn if I go I'm going to have to talk someone into being my "I'm going to hide in your jacket" date. I'm a complete and total baby when it comes to scary movies...

Eh, naked Ewan MacGregor was far less exciting than he could and should have been. Pretty, but nothing approaching the titilation I'd been given to expect. Young Adam was still probably better as art, but in terms of overall enjoyment of the cinematic experience, Mean Girls definitely wins!

Anyway, after Pillow Book and Velvet Goldmine, is there really any mystery left to Ewan's shlong?

I am *totally* psyched for Troy! But $5 Tuesday after opening weekend scares me.
