i JUST dictated a tape for him and he said it and i started snickering.

also, this is in response to a different comment that i keep meaning to go back to, but might as well just put it here -- your mention of us both having male nicknames reminded me that i made letter-shaped pillows in home ec class in the 8th grade that spelled out JIM.

i wonder if my mom came across those when they moved and thought, 'this explains a lot.'

or maybe not.

I was wondering if you were ever going to get back to me on that comment. I was beginning to think I somehow offended you; and you were purposefully ignoring me. I guess I can stop being paranoid now. :P

So, your parents finally moved? About d@mn time.

You took home ec? I never knew that about you. Or perhaps I did, and chose to block that memory out.

No, no, not offended at all! Its still sitting in my inbox and at the time I read it, I didn't have time to give a real response, and then of course, I kept forgetting about it, except at moments when I was nowhere near a computer.

My parents moved up to Lawrenceville (I think?) about three years ago. No, wait. Five years ago? Damn. I kinda don't remember.

I took Home Ec in the 8th grade. One quarter was cooking, one quarter was sewing, and one quarter was 'life skills' where you learned to balance a checkbook and make a budget and maintain hygiene. I also sewed a pair of shorts, but considered sewing myself a pair of "Hammer pants". Not ironically.
