Nov. 16th, 2001 09:44 amLast night was good. Sushi was wonderful, as usual, and I love the restaurant so much. Everything about it -- the food, the wait staff, the decor, the presentation. I always had really memorable experiences there, which is evident by the fact that I can actually count the exact number of times I've been there (8) and remember something significant that was talked about every time (which I won't type here because that's too tedious). If Ringo every closed, I would be genuinely heartbroken. Then later Damon came over and we yelled and laughed at lot and generally acted like rowdy adolescent boys while playing video games. Except our shit-talking was probably more complex and abstract.
I'm very excited by the gig tonight. I can tell because I'm acting pretty stoic and nonchalant. That usually means I'm so excited that I'm afraid to show it for fear of exploding, so I act more demure.
And I get to leave work in almost 2 hours, so I think I can keep morale up for that long. I've started making more to-do lists with detailed activities, so i have more opportunities to cross things off, which is inherently satisfying.
In other news, I'm very happy to welcome my fantasy life back to the show. We've been missing it for the past couple months and didn't realize what a significant part it played in so many aspects of life. So it's great to see it! Welcome to the couch.....
