Today I learned that a potato masher and a hand mixer can't quite replicate a blender or a food processor. But! My made-up-on-the-fly Fennel Cream Soup is so delicious, I don't even mind that its a little chunky. I think it will be more delicious after sitting overnight and eating it chilled.

Can I use you as a "fantasy" crash pad, so I will actually move. This involves telling myself I can move because I have a place to crash once I arrive. It involves no actual crashing.

Certainly! We have an array of futons and couches that make for great naps, a somewhat tolerable night of sleep, and a horrible long stay, so even if you did need to crash, it would also motivate you to find someplace with a real bed.
